The Fear of Death

The Fear of Death

Death is the ultimate fear among most of society. Actually, it
runs second to public speaking but staying realistic, if given
the choice, most would choose to speak before a crowd of two or
three-thousand than die. The fear is a natural one because we
were all cursed to die when the man and the woman ate of tree of
the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden. Before
that, life was eternal, and there is no telling how long the man
and woman had lived before the incident.

Nevertheless, once again we a have a chance at eternal life
through God’s son Jesus Christ. Not many people realize the gift
we have because it is incomprehensible to the human mind, so
unconsciously, death, which is more comprehensible, is an
expectant part of life. So expectant that people take the notion
of eternal life for granted; though, it is an option. One man,
when asked if he could have anything on earth what would it be,
he sarcastically answered, “to live forever.” Little did he know
that eternal life it is a reality.

People fear death for a number of reasons, such as, not knowing
what to expect afterward; fear a leaving behind a life so well
lived and people they love, and the thought of not knowing in
what way death will come, painlessly or not. To add to this
fear, the Bible introduced the concept of Hell, a place of
torment and eternal suffering. For people who acknowledge Hell,
fear increases. However, it seems that lately, in these last
days, many have accepted Hell as a final resting place for their
soul because they feel they are not worthy of Heaven. This
notion is deceptive and dangerous to accept lightly.

Thank Hollywood for this deception. Because movie producers - or
any one - has ever been to either after-place, Heaven or Hell,
and returned to tell about it, they depict both places from the
depths of their own imaginations. The human mind cannot grasp
the depth of God nor can it accurately portray either
afterworld. The going trend for the ambiance of Hell is the
“Party Scene”, where there is one big party and all the bad
people of the world act out their most evil and lustful
fantasies without punishment. Because there would be no God in
Hell, people feel there would be no punishment. However, they
forget that there is a god in Hell and how deceiving he is; who
is Satan.

The Devil will be a friend while a person lives: He will give
any one all the evil possessions of this earth and allow them to
get away with murder or any heinous crime they want. One has to
remember, the devil has limited power here on earth because God
has control, but when time comes for the soul to descend to
Satan’s world, the tables will turn. There will be no God, which
means no mercy, no love, no grace, no truth, no good feeling.
Satan is the god of all evil and there is no good in evil, no
matter how good it may have felt while here on earth.

Though some people live like there is no Hell, even they have
fears. For instance, depending on what evil a person practiced
while alive, it will be that same fear that comes upon them in
Hell. If someone lived as a racist, a homophobe, a child abuser
et, once in Hell, they will face that which they practiced here
on earth, for eternity. Not to claim knowledge of what goes on
in Hell, the point is, people never consider the consequences of
their actions, beliefs, and lifestyles, and how they may be
affecting someone else. They never consider that Hell could be a
place of a person’s most adamant fears rolled into one long
nightmare.

Because the fear of death is such a strong governing force of
the human mind, the threat of death acts as an advantage to
some. Hold a gun to an unarmed person’s head and ask them for
anything of value to them, in most instances they will give it.
Others value some things such as family, friends and even
material substances to the point of death. However, this takes
courage and lots of love, and sometimes lust. Nevertheless, when
a person’s life is threatened, they will submit to the one
holding the gun. Crooks, drugs dealers, robbers, murderers,
child molesters, rapist, even businesspeople, congress people,
celebrities, and the average working Joe knows that if push
comes to shove, a gun and a serious demeanor can give them
temporary power over their victim.

Notice Hollywood movies. Ninety-nine percent of the time, the
antagonist uses the threat of death to get what they want from
the victim. Be it gun point, knives, bombs, alien invasion, war,
or with the bare hands, if death is the antagonist’s strategy
for the victim or victims, it makes for a adventurous movie. The
fear of death makes the plot. Death also makes good sad stories.
When the main or supporting character is suddenly stricken with
sickness and dies after the audience grows fond of the
character, it makes a good story. If there were no death,
Hollywood would have no purpose, neither would many crooks.

Eternal life is an option for those who desire to live a
fearless life. Free from the threat of death and of Hell.
Trusting in God and His promise of a heavenly kingdom will
destroy the fear. In fact, many believers of God desire death
over life any day. That means that after they die (or their body
dies) they will be with God. This mindset takes great faith,
faith that what God promised is true and real. Those who have
this type faith do not fear death but await it. When those close
to them die, it is no great loss or sorrow because they know
that of that person had the same faith, then they are with God.

Do not fear death. Fear death only if there is no faith in God.
If there is no faith in God then there should be any belief in
Satan, and if there is no belief in Satan, then do not fear
death because this means there is nothing afterward in the
afterlife. But who can be sure that there is anything? The human
mind has the ability to imagine the unimaginable and many people
have no control over that realm of the mind. Therefore, if the
mind says “know” then realize that there is something greater
than the mind. Trust God and live.

Man Questions Whether We’ll Be Angelic Or Divine

Filed under: Great Religion Tips — admin at 12:18 am on Saturday, April 26, 2008

Weren’t Adam and Eve angelic in the Garden?

That’s totally UNscriptural. There’s the human kingdom, angel
kingdom and God kingdom. Scripture reveals they were all too
human - NEPESH in Hebrew - mortal, living creatures that could
and did die, failing the opportunity to be given God-life by the
Holy Spirit.

…Well, if they didn’t eat of the fruit, they wouldn’t
taste death. This shows that if they didn’t eat of it, they
would’ve continued to be immortal like God.

No, they were totally mortal, flesh and blood, from the dust
and returned to the dust - nothing divine or immortal about them
whatsoever IF you believe the Bible is the Word of God, which I
do.

Adam and Eve were given time to make up their minds, to choose
life or choose death - to become immortal and divine or return
to dust as if they had never existed. God refused to permit them
to become immortal (they were not already immortal) in sin and
drove them from the Garden, deported them for their sins. Why
offer eternal life if they already had it?

As I understand, Adam and Eve, in their angelic-like state,
were extremly powerful. The angels were scared of them. I also
have heard it said that because of this creation, Satan was
relegated to a inferior position which began his jealousy.

They were mere mortals with an incredible human potential to
become divine. They were beneath the angels but had the
opportunity to transcend the angelic plane to the Godhead level.

Jesus was the Second Adam. It clearly states the first Adam was
corruptible, flesh and blood, mortal. Why don’t you believe the
Word of God? Yet Jesus, the Second Adam, is divine,
incorruptible and immortal. We can become like Jesus the
firstborn (by a resurrection from the dead and glorified) of
many brethren.

Adam and Eve obviously wanted to return to their former
state and enter Eden.

Nothing had changed in the composition of Adam and Eve, mere
mortals, but their character - the change was all in their minds.

1 Corinthians 15:45-57

45So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”
(nephesh/living creature); the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.
46The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after
that the spiritual. 47The first man was of the dust of the
earth, the second man from heaven. 48As was the earthly man, so
are those who are of the earth; and as is the man from heaven,
so also are those who are of heaven. 49And just as we have borne
the likeness of the earthly man, so shall we bear the likeness
of the man from heaven. 50I declare to you, brothers, that flesh
and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the
perishable inherit the imperishable. 51Listen, I tell you a
mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed–
52in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.
For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised
imperishable, and we will be changed. 53For the perishable must
clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with
immortality. 54When the perishable has been clothed with the
imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying
that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in
victory.”

55″Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your
sting?” 56The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the
law. 57But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our
Lord Jesus Christ.

This clearly shows Adam was flesh and blood, mortal,
corruptible and we’re just like him - but the good news is we
can become exactly like the Second Adam and be transformed at
the Resurrection into brilliant God-beings, composed of divine
nature and holy composition. Adam and Eve were never anything
but what they always were: nephesh/living creature, souls that
lived, sinned and died.

But Scripture clearly reveals we’re after the Godkind - not
after the angels in the First Resurrection.

…I think you’re being a bit picky with words.

More like careful or faithful since “if they speak not
according to this Word, there is no light in them” (Isaiah). If
anything contradicts the Scriptures it’s of the serpent and I
won’t give him the time of day and neither should you, no matter
how appealing he might make some other books appear and entice
you to take of them and get confused, yet thinking you’re being
enlightened. “We’re not ignorant of his devices.”

The Scriptures say Jesus was born again by the Resurrection from
the dead, and it says He was the Firstborn of many brethren and
shall change our vile bodies that they may be fashioned just
like His - not like the angels who will be under us and managed
by us in the World Tomorrow.

…granted but you don’t know exactly how all the angels
look or exactly how Jesus looks. You don’t know their
similarities nor their obvious differences. You’re just playing
with words again.

No, you’re playing with fire trying to lower man transformed
into God to an angelic level. Satan hates our incredible human
potential to bypass him and become God-beings in righteousness.

Even as we have been fully mortal and human like Adam, we shall
be fully divine and holy Spirit like Christ the Second Adam,
being born again into the literal Kingdom-Family of God. How
Satan is insanely jealous of this fact!

…This doesn’t negate the fact that Eden is a type per say
of Heaven, and Adam and Eve wanted to and did return back to
Eden (in otherwords Heaven).

Eden is only a type of HEAVEN ON EARTH or don’t you believe
Jesus who said “the meek shall inherit the Earth” and that the
Heavenly City New Jerusalem will be established ON EARTH? Adam
and Eve are dead and buried and are not in Heaven (John 3:13).

They obtained their angelic-like, God-like bodies again in
paradise through the acts of Jesus.

That’s a religious lie. They never had anything but mortal,
flesh and blood bodies. SATAN FELL - NOT MANKIND! Man is
presently under the angel’s level, as Hebrews clearly
reveals - but we have the incredible God-given potential to
literally become born again into the God Kingdom-Family.

Hebrews 1:4-6

4So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he
has inherited is superior to theirs.

5For to which of the angels did God ever say,

“You are my Son; today I have become your Father”? Or again, “I
will be his Father, and he will be my Son”? 6And again, when God
brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s
angels worship him.”

Hebrews 2:5-18

5It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come,
about which we are speaking. 6But there is a place where someone
has testified:

“What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that
you care for him?

7You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned
him with glory and honor

8and put everything under his feet? In putting everything under
him, God left nothing that is not subject to him. Yet at present
we do not see everything subject to him. 9But we see Jesus,
who was made a little lower than the angels,
now crowned
with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the
grace of God he might taste death for everyone.

10In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that
God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make
the author of their salvation perfect through suffering. 11Both
the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of
the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers.
12He says, “I will declare you in the presence of the
congregation I will sing your praises.” 13And again, “I will put
my trust in him.” And again he says, “Here am I, and the
children God has given me.”

14Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in
their humanity
(the exact same humanity Adam had) so that by
his death he might destroy him who holds the power of
death–that is, the devil– 15and free those who all their lives
were held in slavery by their fear of death. 16For surely it
is not angels he helps, but Abraham’s descendants.
17For
this reason he had to be made like his brothers in every way, in
order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest
in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins
of the people. 18Because he himself suffered when he was
tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted.

Jesus became like the First Adam - totally human, flesh and
blood - nothing angelic about Him! However, He had the divine
nature that we can partake of now and be born again by the
Spirit at the First Resurrection and become totally like Him -
the Second Adam - DIVINE - not like something you imagine
falsely in the Garden before the sin - something much better!

You really need read the Books of Eden, but somehow I think
you won’t.

The Lord rebuke you Satan! I won’t listen to the serpent who
contradicts the Word of God. You really need to burn your lying
Books of Gehenna - they’re not of Eden!

The Bible reveals man is created in the image of God and at the
resurrection will be transformed into the brilliant image of
Jesus Christ, the Second Adam, holy and divine, literal members
of the God Kingdom-Family!

Finding God

Filed under: Great Religion Tips — admin at 5:48 pm on Monday, April 7, 2008

John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. What is in the minds of those that are lost, indecision, controversy, doubt, lack of knowledge?
Who are the Lost and what does it mean?

“The Lost are those that do not, or have yet not, accepted the truth of Jesus Christ being the Son of God.” That sounds like a good answer doesn’t it? In a way I guess it is but being lost is much more than this, its actually the rejection that there is a God, a creator of all things, a mani-fester of goodness and righteousness. An intelligent being that has control of all aspects of life from the atom to the continued existence of man. If you do not believe in God, how could you believe that He has a Son?

James states in; 2:19 , “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” Believing in God is not enough to be saved from the wrath to come. In 1Titus 4:1 we see; “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;”
God is Spirit.

In John, 4:24, John states a simple truth; “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. ” A spirit is an individual without the limitations of the body.” Everyone believes in air, but no one can see it, everyone believes in gravity, but no ones can see it, everyone believes in the easter bunny when it doesn’t even exist. People celebrate Christmas, but denigh the one for which the celebration was created for. Then why cant people, that believe in things that they cant see, celebrate a day without believing in its purpose, believe in a creator that created all the things that people use and can see the results of?

Many say that they believe in God but do not believe in His Son. For without the Son, they cannot believe in God. For without the Son there would be no God. In John 10:30, Jesus said; “I and my Father are one.” So then is Jesus God? Some say yes others say no and both are correct. Jesus and the Father are one of the Same but separate Deitys(any supernatural being worshiped as controlling some part of the world or some aspect of life or who is the personification of a force. You cannot separate Gods Spirit from God. As in the Trinity, The Father, Son and Holy Spirit(Ghost).).

References for proof; John 1:1-2, 5:17, 5:23, 8:58, 14:9, 14:23, 16:15, 17:10, 17:21; Matthew 11:27, 28:19; 1Titus 3:16; 2:13; 1John 5:7, 5:20
Who knew that thousands of years before man even began to write the Bible, that the words in Colossians 1:16 would mean so much in explaining God? ” For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:” We see that even mans authority was created by God, thrones, dominions, principalities, and powers.

Mankind believes that the creation of all things happened by accident, from the atom to humans, from oxygen to water, from dirt to space, for they lack knowledge in the spiritual and cannot see clearly.

What kind of chance is there that all things happened by accident? None. If you can imagine the existence of nothing or the beginning of someone without a beginning, then you can understand God and that chance is not an option. Think about a being, a spirit, a Creator, that began without a beginning. The mind of man is too small to imagine beginning a beginning.

Hebrews 3:4 For every house ( The word house here, means, beginnings. The beginning of everything starts with someone. Weather it be space, stars, earth, etc.) is builded by some man (here we see that the things that we see, are built by man, but all that we see was never created by man.); but he that built all things is God.

In all of mans existence, he has never created anything from the beginning, that is, starting from nothing. Man cannot create from, will nor thought. Romans 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal life (All men seek the same thing, eternal life, but to those that refuse to have faith, eternal life will be in Gods judgment for them and not as they wish.): If we can believe that there is a God, then we can understand the things that we see and more importantly understand the things that we cannot see.

If we then can believe in God, then we are on the road, to Salvation, Truth, Righteousness, Understanding of things seen and more important the things that we cannot see. Gal 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God?( Am I to persuade God, that man is the creator, or do I persuade Man, that God is and that He is a rewarder of those that seek Him?) or do I seek to please men?( If we please men then our testimony of Christ becomes null and void for men are of a controversial nature not wanting any thing to interrupt their strive for domination at any cost.) for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.(Serving Christ, to the Glory of the Father, is our manifest Destiny.

Pleasing God above all others by telling the truth and speaking of one that can destroy, not only the Body but also the very soul, spirit, existence of mankind.) Hebrews 13:14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come. To believe in God we must have faith, we must be born again into spirit and we must believe in His Son. For whom gave His mortal life so that we could have immortal life.
