Safety is a very important feature. It is recommended that the frames of treadmills should be welded and not bolted as welded frames gives better stability to the machine and lasts longer than the bolted frames. In addition to stability, a treadmill should have an emergency stop button. This button has a magnet at one end and a clip on the other, both attached via a chord. The magnet is attached to the machine while clip is clipped to the clothes. If user ever accidentally falls of the belt during running, the magnet breaks off the connection and the treadmill automatically stops.

Others features of treadmill includes display panel which displays comprehensive information such as speed, time, distance travelled, calories burnt, heart rate monitor etc. treadmills also have built-in workout session of different levels to assist you in your workout session. A user is also able to customize his own training session according to his own need and desire. Another feature of treadmill is inclination option. If you ever want to build your stamina towards hiking, user can incline treadmill at any desired angle to practice hill climbing session. While keeping safe and working out properly you will make the most out of your treadmill.
