What Age Is Appropriate for Dating?
Having children is one of the most gratifying experience an adult will have ever in their life. Having someone depend on you one hundred percent, and hopefully being able to keep them healthy and give them all the best and more. Boys or Girls, grow up and move away, meet someone get married and have their own kids. But before this happens we and them go through the great issue of dating, meeting someone that is good for them and making sure that they are not hurt. So at what point do you let the get involved and bring their loved one to your house for dinner. One thing is for sure as soon as we let this happen, it is an extra distraction especially when it becomes a steady one. The ultimate decision maker is you, as far as what your cultural and religious beliefs are but some rules should be put in place before this occurs.
A good talk would be ideal right about age ten, so they know what to expect until they want to. Keeping the communication lines between parent and child is primordial, having a romantic partner is a natural, and expected part of being a teen, if we accept this both lives theirs and yours will be much easier. The interest starts as soon as elementary school, so be prepared to tackle the issue and be understanding.
